NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Governor General, Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia Pratt signed the Book of Condolence and paid respects to the family of the late Rodney Moncur, JP, Former Senator, Radio Talk Show Host and Social Activist at Lie-in-State ceremonies in the Foyer of the Senate on Thursday, May 22, 2025. His State-Recognized Funeral Service will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral on Friday, May 23, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in the Catholic Cemetery, Tyler Street.
The Funeral Service will be broadcast live via the ZNS radio network
from St. Francis Xavier Cathedral beginning at 11:00am.
